A captivating subject with piercing blue eyes and expressing confidence and presence.
Excellently rendered in oils, all that is known about the artist or subject is that the painting was sourced in Suffolk, south east England. I would love to hear if anyone can add anything else.
He is in a perhaps walnut wood veneer oval antique frame with moulded details to the perimeter, with just a tiny bit of loss, photographed.
