I became fascinated with antiques, and anything that could be as old as my grandma at a young age, and have adored everything from flea markets to grand period houses full of interesting things ever since.
In 2018 I founded Oaky Doke Vintage Home to help save my vintage finds and keep their story alive for decades to come.
New is not always best. You have been led here by a shared interest in the fascinating and often superior design and build quality of furniture, lighting, storage, kitchenalia, mirrors, decor and more from our history.
Antiques and Vintage isn’t all about the past however. At this critical point in our planet’s life, there is no wiser time to be reducing our footprint, and buying older items is not only the most original way of curating our homes and workplaces, but the most sustainable for the future.
I source from all over Wales, England and beyond, collating a trove of wonders full of things I love and know others will too. Making over 3000 sales in my first 5 years trading, I knew I must have got something right, so in 2023 I created this website, where all the brightest gems are presented to you.
I restore the bulk of items myself, and work with specialists for record players, lighting, gramophones, clocks and glass where required.
It is a curated shop with only the most stylish and wonderful homewares from antiques, through Art Nouveau, Art Deco to the broader mid-century through the 60s and as far as the 90s. Yes people, the 90s is vintage now!
You will find everything from Antique Opticians Test Lenses to shoe shop stools; fully restored 60s record players, railway signs to Atomic coat racks, serviced typewriters to mid-century medical cabinets and a whole world more.
We have provided many pieces to set dress films, including the Warner Brothers in the USA and TV shows in the UK including Black Mirror, Emmerdale and Grantchester. We’ve also supplied theatres such as The Globe theatre and Sadlers Wells in London, in addition to establishments including The Savoy Hotel, London, plus the homes of some famous pop stars and comedians! We now offer a rental service for items required for film, productions, and events.
Since 2018 we have served thousands of customers from the Bahamas to New Zealand, Tokyo, and New York. Though we love to serve those closest most of all, and offer free shipping for many items within mainland UK and collection from central Cardiff.

I am passionately committed to reducing environmental waste. As such I use 100% recycled or recyclable materials to pack goods, from boxes, cardboard padding and the best kraft paper sealing tape, all of it as good or better than its plastic alternatives.
