Delivery & Returns Policy

Parcels are all expertly packed in a way which keeps your unique item safe and protected throughout its journey to your door.

Destinations and Services

Except for the most fragile or large items, everything ships worldwide.

In the UK, by default Royal Mail is used for smaller items and Parcelforce for larger parcels. If ordering from the Highlands or Islands, a supplement may be required for larger items.

Prices are automatically generated for postage in the cart.

International Shipping

Everything we send, once packaged, is a different size, shape and weight, so the exact cost of sending isn’t always easy to predict.  Where the actual cost is more than 10% over the postage price paid, we may ask for a supplement to be paid by the customer via a paylink. The customer is always welcome to decline to pay any additional postage cost and request that we cancel the order and give a full refund at this stage.

Any import fees or duties which may arise are the responsibility of the customer.

In Europe, Royal Mail is used for smaller items and DPD for larger parcels.

To the rest of the World, Royal Mail is used for smaller items, and UPS or Parcelforce Worldwide for larger items.

To all locations alternative services may occasionally be used depending on the shape, size and weight of the item.

Expedited Delivery is available when requested by the buyer for an additional supplement; please message us with the destination address and ask for a paylink for a faster service

Courier delivery for larger items

For larger pieces of furniture (sold within the UK only) a trusted door-to-door courier is used, with the price agreed with the buyer before booking. Courier costs are generally paid directly by the customer to the courier on delivery of the item(s). If you prefer to pay this in advance we will send you a paylink and arrange payment directly with the courier ourselves. You may also book your own courier. Collection from central Cardiff is very welcome. Please contact us for collection details.

Our Packaging

All packaging is recycled or recyclable! From the cardboard box, brown paper packing tape and principle padding material for which we use corrugated cardboard sheets (which generally protects better than plastic bubble wrap anyway). Pre-used non-recyclable materials are occasionally utilised.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns requested due to a change of mind or where dimensions listed or any faults detailed in the listing / photos were not noted by the buyer are available within 21 days of purchase will be refunded on return of the item in the same condition it left us in, but the buyer is responsible for both outward and return shipping costs. Please pack the item in the same packaging it arrived in. If this is not possible, please use the same type of packaging, using several centimetres of cardboard padding between the edges of the item and the surfaces of the box.

Except in the case of malfunction or damage occurring in transit, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning an item for a refund. A full refund (item cost and shipping cost) will only be given in the case of malfunction or damage. You may be offered a partial refund which you may decline if the damage in transit was minor. You may be asked to send photos of any damage.

Exchanges are also available, once the difference between the two prices is settled either by the customer or ourselves.
