A beautiful floral oil on canvas painting dating from around the first decade or two of the 1900s, of paddles pink and white roses.
The colours and the style not only of the shading around the petals but the Art Nouveau style of the signature suggest an early 20th century date or perhaps earlier. It has a look that would suit a French country house.
The painting was sourced in France though R. Reggio, seems to have an Italian name, perhaps it was sourced in Italy or perhaps the artist lived there.
