This a charming old world office accessory which remains fully functional and useful nearly a century later. It would be a great addition to a study, lounge or hallway.
Its large size for a perpetual calendar, and hook mount to the rear show that unlike most desk top perpetual calendars an example like this would most likely have hung from the wall of an office or bank.
This has six horizontal winding poles which can be rotated either side of the face. The upper pole for each section progresses the day/date/month to the next, the lower pole for each section is for ‘rewinding’ backwards through the dates, for example when you have reached the end of the week, or the year.
This calendar measures 30cm in diameter and 7cm deep.
