1900s opaline glass pendant light shade with original gallery
A sublime 1900s pendant opaline glass ceiling light shade with original gallery.
A stunning design with protruding rounded lobes of alternating lengths around the perimeter in elegant, fine opaline or ‘milk’ glass.
The whole of this antique ceiling light shade and the gallery to the top is in excellent condition, without marks, though there is a small chip in the edge of the glass noticeable on inspection, see photo.
This beautiful shade came out of a small shop in Somerset which had closed many decades earlier but with much of its contents and fittings untouched.
The shade itself measures 17.5cm tall X 20cm in diameter at the base opening X standard 2.8cm opening in the gallery for the bulb holder at the top.
