A matched pair of 1930s large industrial green enamel metal pendant light shades, rewired, PAT tested and ready to hang

Two wonderful, genuine 1930s large metal light shades with bottle green enamel exterior and reflective white interior.

These would look great as a pair, perhaps in a hallway or above a large dining table.

These would’ve originally had very chunky industrial fittings to the top, but now they have been given a note minimal and homely bespoke fixture involving unusually large washers, in addition to threaded tubes and other elements by a professional lighting technician, who has also given the lights a substantial length of braided black cable which is threaded through a chain to take the weight of the substantial shade. A brand new but complementary matte black ceiling rose is ready to be fitted by your electrician to the ceiling containing the new wiring. These have both then been PAT tested.

There is some rusting to the shades, as is typical of industrial lights of this age, and some chipped enamel. These add to the character of genuine vintage articles like these.

The shades measure 46.5cm in diameter X 44.5cm tall. The cable and intertwined chain measure 100cm (1 metre) in length. These can be cut down / chain links removed as required.
