Early 1900s Holophane glass pendant light shade with brass gallery

A very stylish smaller dome shaped ribbed glass Art Deco Holophane pendant ceiling light shade, from c.1920s, with attractive frill at the base.

A classic design which will look great in any setting. It is a model L60 B.

The whole of this ceiling light shade is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips

Holophane is a well known period light shade company from France, where they make high quality, thick fluted or ribbed glass shades. Holophane is impressed along the top of the shade, a letter in each ridge, as is the word France as the country of manufacture. I have tried to show these in the collage of close up photos.

A new lacquered brass gallery is present. The top of it is 28mm in diameter which is the standard size of UK light fittings. This means you can just replace your current light shade with this one, using the shade ring you are already using.

Should you want a full light fitting rather than just a shade and gallery, a matching brass bulb holder with cable grip above is available for an additional cost, along with a metre of fabric or standard plastic cable and a matching brass ceiling rose. This whole unit can be easily swapped out for your current light fitting by your electrician. Please message should you require these extra elements for an additional £35.

The shade measures 14cm tall to the top of the gallery X 18cm at the base opening. The ring for mounting on the light fitting is the UK standard 28mm diameter.
