A wonderful watercolour painting of a very pretty pigeon in grass.
This picture comes in its lovely antique gilt plaster, glazed frame. This has some pieces missing, shown in photos, which in my opinion ads to its lovely aged character.
Beautiful details up close, great colours and with an appealing illustrative quality to them.
The painting is unsigned but it’s very similar in style to the two other bird watercolours I have in stock by C.B.S. Dangol, the artist is believed to be part of the Nepalese Dangol family dynasty of painters who specialise in birds.
Including the frame, this picture measures 38cm X 34cm.
