A wonderful pair of vintage prints of the Scarlet Finch and Red Headed Bunting in matching vintage black, solid wood frames, after English ornithologist and artist John Gould (b.1804-81).
These pictures have been newly professionally mounted and framed in a lovely matching pair of vintage solid wood frames, and strung to the reverse and will arrive ready to hang on a screw or nail.
The species of bird in Latin is printed to the bottom along with ‘Hullmandel & Walton Imp’ to the right and to the left ‘J. Gould and H.C. Richter del et lith.’
