Vintage fairground ‘Free Cuddly Toy If You Lose’ hand-painted wooden sign
A large vintage genuine fairground sign, hand-painted on wood.
Something particularly tragic but warming about the sign out if context of the funfair game it once stood on.
Fun, colourful and joyful, evocative of good times.
After some deliberation, I decided to leave this sign exactly as it came. If you prefer, I can give it a coat of quality clear wax which will deepen the colours, make them more vivid, and give a later of protection from scratching. Send me a message after purchase if you’d like me to do this before sending.
Another option is that I can add a wooden bar with wood glue to the back with hooks and picture wire so that the sign can be hung on a screw in the wall.
