Pair of antique French Pots Sud Ouest
An absolutely beautiful pair of pots sud ouest with plenty of characterful patina, chips and cracks from a long and hard life.
With layers of colours varying over the pot, with the typical yellow-ochre glaze to the top and plain earthenware below.
As the name suggests, these are native to the south west of France and were used to preserve food such as confit or wine.
Dripping with stunning colour and character. These would distract from any flower placed inside, and would be best displayed as they are.
One measures 26cm tall X 25cm outer handle to outer handle, the other 31.5cm tall X 32cm.
Price range: £220 through £450
