A wonderful trio of 45 year old prints of a 220 year old artworks originally published in the book of ‘The Temple of Flora’ by Robert Thornton, which included 31 plates in the extraordinary magical realist settings, which made the 1807 work one of the most respected and beloved 19th century botanical works.
Professionally mounted and strung in matching black and gilt vintage frames.
The spectacular images presented here are the Large Flowering Sensitive Plant, A Group of Auriculas and The Pontic Rhododendron.
