A wonderfully warm image of presumably a beloved and very elegant woman in the artist’s life, with classic jazz age hairstyle and blue eyes, on a blue background.
There are multiple small chips to the paint surface which gives it a distinctive antiquated character and for me adds to its charm.
The painting is unsigned.
