Antique Welsh stoneware dairy bowl

A thick, stoneware Welsh dairy bowl.

Originating from a farmhouse where it would have had many users in the kitchen which could have included skimming cream or beating butter, or as a mixing bowl.

Beyond its original use, these work beautifully now as fruit bowls, planters or decorative pieces, covered in unique markings from its hand fabrication and years of use and collecting marks.

This example is not as large as some, making it practical for any domestic table or sideboard.
