Two complimentary oil on canvas still life paintings beautifully capturing the joie de vivre: wine and grapes, colour and joy in abundance. Drink, food and nature, voraciously rendered in impasto oils.

Signed by scraping his initials into the paint, P.R., these paintings are both also titled in pen on the back of the canvas, and similarly signed. They are definitely by the same artist, and he is clearly named Pierre, though his surname appears to be Roussets in one, and is less clear in the other.

Both have hanging hooks so arrive ready to adorn your walls.

These are for sale individually, though purely because I’d prefer them to stay together, they are priced advantageously as a pair.
