Golden Oak c.1950s angle lamp

A completely original scratch-built golden oak task lamp with brass details and industrial type spun aluminium shade.

The lamp has been rewired with black fabric earthed cable and PAT tested – bears the pass sticker on its new black UK 3-pin plug.

This lamp which rotates 360° on its base and folds at its various joints to be directed at any precise point. It was likely produced post war, perhaps by a returned soldier, based on the Anglepoise lamp which were used during the war.

The switch is incorporated into the bulb holder, so no need to search down a cable for a switch.

The aluminium shade has a maximum rating of 20w so it is recommended to use an energy saving B22 lightbulb.

Height range approx. 36cm-68cm. Shade drop 14cm X 15cm diameter. The base 15cm². 240cm total cable length.
