Vintage Herbert Terry black gooseneck lamp with switch in base, PAT tested
A stylish black gooseneck lamp from circa 1970s by the renowned lamp maker Herbert Terry, famous for inventing the Anglepoise.
In a versatile neutral black, this lamp will fit in anywhere and add a little style along with its utility.
With its flexible slim metal gooseneck it can be angled where you need the light, and turned on and off in an instant with the light touch switch atop the base – no rummaging around the back of the desk for an inline switch halfway down to the floor.
This lamp takes standard sized bayonet light bulbs and has a cable of a substantial 153cm. There is an area where the paint has scratched off the lamp head (see photos).
It has been given a brand new UK 3 pin plug and brand new 3 amp fuse. and then been PAT tested and bears the pass sticker on its plug (October 2023).
This lamp measures approximately 48cm tall and the base measures 16cm X 14cm. The cable is a generous 153cm (approx. 5 feet) long.
