Vintage farrier’s stool from Tapeley Park estate farm
A humbly constructed decades old stool or step-up with a casual coating of paint and a compartment at the base for tools.
This came out of an estate farm on Tapeley Park, North Devon where it was apparently used by a farrier (person who shoes horses). It was most likely put together on the estate.
It has been thoroughly cleaned and waved so there’s no flaking paint and it has a smooth, protected finish. I’ve added protective pads to the base to protect your floor.
Great for stepping up a level easily in the kitchen or elsewhere, tying shoelaces on, or as a coffee table with books in the base, or a plant stand.
41cm wide X 39cm deep at legs x 35cm tall. Top step is 41cm X 17cm.
