A charming vintage c.1930s weathered painted pine manual clothes wringer, great as a desk or table top bookshelf.
This was sourced from a gentleman who’s grandmother used it to wring the water from washed clothes and his mother remembered her using it in the 1930s.
In a great blue-green paint which has worn and washed away with the water and soap over years of use.
Ideal as a desk tidy, perhaps for a few books, stationery, a plant, your phone…
Also great in the kitchen for all those hardback cookbooks.
Part of the top of one handle has split but is stable assuming it is not regularly being moved around.
Measures 25.5cm wide X 15.5cm deep X 19.5cm tall.
