Three early 1900s masks from Cameroon
Three fascinating masks originating from Cameroon, central Africa.
Used in tribal, ritualistic practices these now make a striking display of sculptural African craft.
The white mask to the left, and the striped mask to the right of the first photo date from around the 1930s. The striped face has four eyes and three mouths and as such, three faces in one, for seeing in all directions. The larger, central mask is around 200 years old.
These are sold as a complimentary trio.
