Rheinmetall typewriter, model KsT, superb German made typewriter made in 1958, with new ribbon, original wooden case and instruction manual

An excellent quality Rheinmetall typewriter, model KsT, made in Germany in 1958.

Incredibly sturdy build quality combined with a seriously satisfying key stroke feel and sound, a beautiful and clear typeface and with its grey-green or taupe chassis this is a solid workhorse of a mid-century typewriter offered fired with a brand new black / red ribbon, along with its original wooden case, instruction manual and cleaning and erasing accessories.

This typewriter is delightful to use with some really helpful, easy to use and smoothly running features for the typist such as the Tab key for making indents and easy to press down keys, great for quick typing. It’s well built and hard wearing compared to many typewriters I’ve handled.

This typewriter is close to 70 years old and though fully functional, and cleaned of dirt and dust, there are marks and evidence of age and use.

The Rheinmetall KsT is a serious option for the typewriter user or collector.
