Pair of vintage brass posable wall lights, clamshell sconces by Christopher Wray

A wonderful pair of solid brass midcentury wall lights, with clamshell shades and round wall plates.

These sconces are for hardwiring into your house electrics by a qualified electrician. They both have approx 85cm brand new 3 core cable which can be cut down as required. They have been PAT tested to prove safety and bear the dated pass labels on the plates.

These are very versatile in use, as shown in pictures, the lights can be tilted to point at a picture or reading chair for example or to ensure no bare bulb is in your eyeline.

In addition, the shades can be rotated 360° so you could use them as uplighters, or direct them down a staircase for example.

In good vintage condition, you will see wear to the shades up close as to be expected.

Protrudes 25cm from wall when angled straight outwards. The mounting roundels measure 7.7cm diameter and the screw hole centre are 5cm apart. The clamshell shades measure 19cm X 10.5cm wide X 6cm tall.
