Two resplendent original paintings on canvas in the absolutely wonderful Art Nouveau style of the Byzantine heads by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939).
Featuring two beautiful women in profile, with typically Art Nouveau flowing, curling hair which should out of the frames, they are heavily bejewelled and adorned in precious stones and fabulous gold headresses. These fantastic portraits are surrounded with further ornamental forms in the Art Nouveau way.
The paintings, acrylic on canvas, have been newly, professionally framed with new glass, in vintage solid wood frames.
Due to the fact these are glazed, it is incredibly difficult to get flat-on full photographs while completely avoiding any reflections. Any unexpected shadows are likely to be reflections rather than on the actual painting. I have done my utmost to avoid the reflections wherever possible.
There is new string to the reverse of both pictures for hanging.
The pictures are unsigned.
