Pair of antique early 20th century Art Nouveau WMF silver plated bud vases

A very elegant pair of WMF Art Nouveau electro plated silver bud vases with a stunning design a lady’s head in side profile, with floral and voluptuous details to the base and the pierced handles in naturalistic organic form.

The German company WMF or Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, through their technological advances such as galvanisation, a new, detailed method of electro plating silver, and working with the best artists of the day, became one of the principle manufacturers of homewares of the period and one of the most highly collectable producers of Art Nouveau pieces today.

There are no glass inserts to these.

They measure 15cm tall X 7cm wide at the base X 8cm at the handles.
