Olympia Olympiette Typewriter made in 1977, fully functional with original hard case and new ribbon
An excellent ’70s Olympia ‘Olympiette’ Typewriter made in January 1977.
With a superb angular shape typical in design of the late ’70s and into the 80s.
It is in excellent working order having been cleaned in and out, including every key top and surface of the chassis, and the carriage rails and other joints oiled. It has also had a brand new black and red ribbon fitted.
The German Olympia typewriter company has roots over 120 years ago and has remained at the pinnacle of typewriter manufacture since, creating machines that are consistently at the highest level of design, workmanship, specifications and build quality.
The type that is shown reveals the unique font used by Olympias and is clear and well-aligned.
The original case is present and echoes the sharp retro angles of the typewriter. The case has a part missing at the back.
