Midcentury West German 1960s sand colour lava jug vase 497-18

A small-medium midcentury vase in produced in West Germany by Scheurich Keramik in the 1960s with a fascinating veined and crackled surface texture.

This lovely little loop-handled vase is in great condition from top to bottom. There is a fixed crack towards the lip, I have tried to capture it in the close up photos of the lip but it takes close study to notice.

The colourway is a tasteful and subdued sandy brown with reddish brown and creams.

The dimensions are: 18cm tall X 10cm diameter at the base.
