A fantastic 1950s Crown Derby pottery lidded butter dish on a Wyncraft teak and gold wire stand.
A superb midcentury design with fine lines punctuated here and there with red spots. The cage stand in gold colour contrasts with the teak wood base, making this quintessentially of its time.
Everything is in excellent condition, though there is some discoloration and crazing inside the dish.
As can be seen in the relevant photo, this fits a standard UK block of butter perfectly.
Measures 18cm X 11cm X 8.5cm tall.
