Early-midcentury brass letterbox
A very stylish and minimally simple early-mid 1900s brass letterbox for the front door.
The spring to return the flap to its closed position to avoid letting drafts in its working very well, and strong new bolts to fix it to your door.
There’s some lovely patina to the brass, which you only get from age.
Please note new solid brass letterboxes, with no patina, just fake ageing cost around three times as much as this beauty.
25.4cm wide X 7.5cm tall. The opening measures 19.5cm X 4.2cm. The horizontal distance between the bolt centres is 22.5cm. They protrude approx. 4cm. Longer bolts could be sourced easily for thicker doors if required.
