Early 20th century beveled edge frameless mirror, with swan lovers crest
A wide, beveled edge frameless mirror from the earlier part of the last century, likely 1920s or 30s. There is an attractive metal crest to the top centre featuring two swan lovers forming hearts with their necks.
With a wooden back and hooped chain to the reverse for hanging, this is a solid yet elegant option for your hallway, bedroom or overmantel, or perhaps part of a wall of mirrors.
The mirror is designed to hang horizontally from its chain, and it could also work well leant on a dressing table (see photos).
As ever with these old mirrors, there are a couple of getting scratches, and some disintegration of the foil backing at the edges, please see photos.
Measures 56cm wide X 32cm.
