Tall orange stool with cracked paintwork
A great looking tall, orange vintage stool, later overpainted in a cream paint which has cracked and flaked away in places over many years.
In order to keep the unique paintwork stable and not allowed to continue to breakaway, I have given the stool two coats of decorator’s varnish to harden and stabilise the original finish without having to remove it.
Also makes a nice display shelf perhaps for a plant at home or in a shop, or as a side table especially for narrower spaces.
The stool has the convenience of a central hand hole so it can be moved around one-handed.
