Vintage homemade carpenter’s green wooden bench

A great looking painted green pine small carpenter’s work bench dating from around the middle of the last century.

Scratch-built by the owner, and simple in structure and design, covered with saw marks, chips and embedded nails, the little work bench has the most beautiful patina and worn pale green paintwork. It has just had a coat of wax to lock in the texture and character and give some protection.

Perfect now as a rustic plant stand, stool, or a small coffee table beside a favourite armchair…

Also makes a nice display shelf at home or for a shop, a shoe-tying bench, or as a small side table especially for narrower spaces.

Measures 38.5cm wide X 22cm deep X 45.5cm tall.
