Late 1800s green and brass cash tin by MK Hodges & Son of Wolverhampton
An antique, later 1800s cash tin in dark green with brass strapwork.
Embossed to the inside of the lid, MK Hodges & Son of Wolverhampton above a registration mark which shows the design being registered 27th November 1863.
With a combination of its unusual green colourway, strapping and studwork, and classically Victorian shaped brass handle this is a very attractive, good sized tin with a hinged lid.
The key is no longer present.
Measures 25cm wide X 15cm deep X 10cm tall.
