A striking c.1900 barbotine vase with thin branches forming the handles and wrapping around the vase, adorned with flowers, and two substantial blue tits in high relief perching.

In trumpet form with a pierced, flared opening with Art Nouveau influence and impressive, quite real appearing little birds clinging to the sides.

One of the tails has been glued back on very carefully and tidily. It took me some time looking close up and photographing before I spotted this.

There is feint crazing to the surface.

A special, uniquely elegant piece indeed.
