19th century Walnut swing mirror with bobbin turned supports
A gorgeous antique Walnut wood swing mirror, made between 1860-80, with bobbin turned supports with bun feet beneath.
The wood is a lovely warm shade and the whole piece is of modest proportions so would fit in perfectly in smaller spaces.
The supports are in the attractive bobbin turned style which harked back to the 17th century.
There is a central oval hinged compartment to the centre of the base for smaller jewellery or accessories.
There are a few light scratches as you would expect with the age, including a couple of small ones to the glass, please study the photos for condition.
The mirror tilts by unscrewing the tightening the wooden knobs to the sides.
This is a lovely, practical vintage piece for the dressing table or sideboard, full of antique charm.
It measures 45cm wide X 20cm deep X approx. 47cm tall.
