Pair of 18th century French stoneware bottles
A wonderful pair of late 18th century stoneware bottles with a dark grey colour and charming handmade forms.
With plenty of texture and character in the varying shades as you traverse the historic body.
These came from Nantes in France, and the vendor told the story of these being part of the last batch produced by a company whose galleon sunk in 1780 which resulted in the end of production as they went out of business having lost all their stock.
These make beautiful antique decorative pieces in a bedroom, kitchen or lounge (or anywhere else for that matter) perhaps as pictured, with a dried or fresh stem.
Both measure 30cm tall X 8cm in diameter.
These are available to buy separately but a deal is available for buying the pair. See the drop down menu below.
Price range: £55 through £90
