1950s German Junghans wind-up alarm clock

A stylish midcentury German alarm clock dating from the 1950s in full working order.

In an off-white colour with gold tone detail, a separate dial for the second hand, and a loud, classic bell alarm.

There is an adjustment lever to the reverse for slowing or speeding up the movement should it run slow or fast.

It has been tested on one wind and ran for 42.5 hours.

There are speckled rust spots over the case. Testament to the quality of the German made movement is that it is still working well after 70 years.

This clock measures 9.5cm diameter X 11cm total height X 5cm deep.
