1930s Jaz French alarm clock

A beautiful looking Jaz alarm clock dating from c.1930s in full working order.

The engraved words on the back of the clock are in French such as ‘Sonnerie’ for the alarm sound, ‘Reveil’ to set waking time, ‘Mouvement’ to wind the clock, and ‘Heures’ to set the time. A sliding lever is a useful adjuster for if the mechanical clock is running a little slow or fast, you can move it towards ‘Avance’ or ‘Retard’ accordingly.

This is a great looking clock with its stylish gold Art Deco numerals and a lovely antique brown face.
