Wonderful Loetz Neptune Jug, Art Nouveau Iridescent Glass Neptun Bohemian Glass
A beautiful Art Nouveau green iridescent glass jug attributed to Loetz. With tumbling stylised seaweed design to the exterior, and in the right light, a lovely, glowing multicoloured iridescence.
This jug has a wonderful shape, bulbous at the base and vertical at the neck, the handle’s perfectly round blob at the base where applied to the body is a really lovely feature. The whole piece has a subdued matte feel and look, until placed in the light where you get the colourful shimmers.
Great in a glass cabinet, shelf it wherever it can capture the light.
The piece measures 15cm tall X 11cm diameter X 7cm top opening diameter.
