A lovely early – mid century large flat wooden collectors box with a hinged lid and freshly lined interior.
As can be seen from the just-legible labels, hand written and typewritten this was originally used for collecting insect specimens once upon a time, perhaps in a museum.
It has been freshly re-lined in a pale pink vinyl with velvet trim in complementary pale pink and deep fuchsia.
Now perfect for jewellery and other dressing table items, or whatever else you might want to keep in a beautiful vintage wooden box.
