A large adjustable beech wood easel by Windsor & Newton Ltd, made in London.

Dating from around the middle of the last century, this is a well made example by a renowned maker.
A good looking solid old piece for the artist, and also a great piece for holding a menu, wedding table plan or sign.The real has been given a coat of quality Fiddes supreme wax.
Faintly in pen you can make out the name of presumably the previous owner, Smyth of 12 Worcester Terrace.
Adjustable to fit a range of picture sizes, the height of the easel ranging from 175cm – 244cm depending on the angle of the legs and height of the upright. The front of the base measures 73cm wide. The angle of the easel is adjusted by a large bow tie shaped screw.
