Vintage early-midcentury French farmhouse built painted cabinet
A wonderful vintage French vernacular painted cabinet.

Having been sourced in the Charentes in Western France, it has lovely blue-green paintwork and timber top with the most unusual and unique textured top from many decades of use.
The drawers have over-painted metal cup handles and there is an elegant old round cupboard handle.
In the context of a smart surrounding perhaps in a hallway or kitchen the character of this unique piece will really sing.
Work has been done to level out the legs to sit completely flat, some cleaning without removing the look of age which makes it what it is, fixing down loose parts and then lining the drawers and shelves with a mustard yellow fabric, ready for your crockery, glassware, dried foods or anything else you choose to store in it.
The cabinet stands 80cm tall. The top measures 86cm x 47cm.
