Midcentury map of Europe by Holland Steamship Company
A large midcentury vintage map of Europe produced for the Holland Steamship Company.
Showing their routes in red arrows, this element really just provides a bit of character to what is a good sized map of our continent (or most of it) with the speckles and sepia tone that old paper has.
It is held by its two beech wood poles with triangular hooks to the top on which period thick string is tied to mount on a screw.
There are several tears, some of which have been taped up, please study photos.
This colourful, attractive map is educational and decorative and with its old charm and original wood frame is a great addition to any room.
Measures 83cm wide X 67cm tall.
Will be shipped rolled up in a study cardboard tube.
