Large Victorian English hand-painted green and gold cheese dish
A beautiful and grand Victorian cheese dish with a hand-painted green ivy design to each side.
Featuring gold veins to the leaves which glimmer and shine as you look at it as you move.
A very large dish with grand proportions perfect for a large table or sideboard.
The base shows plenty of age but it’s completely smooth to the touch and very much still useable despite looking worn.
There is one small chip to the underside lip of the base only visible when the base is turned upside down. Visable in group photo.
The dish base measures 29cm X 27cm and approximately 19cm in height to the top of the handle.
