Ercol blond chair model 305, Midcentury Elm and Beech arm chair with original cushions

A fantastic blond Ercol arm chair, model 305, with a hoop back and spindles.

***Shipping is not included, it is by collection or courier. Please read details at the bottom of this section***

The main body is of light, slightly honey colour Beech wood, and the seat an absolutely beautiful Elm, a darker hardwood with a glorious grain.

It’s impossible to mistake the inimitable class and style of midcentury Luciano Ercolani who was based in High Wycombe, England.

The original Ercol sticker is still in place under the seat, stating the model number and even the date of fabrication, 1978.

With its narrow, curved forms, it is minimal in design but wholly comfortable and embracing in use. Even without the cushions this is a surprisingly comfy chair to sit in, testament to the quality of design.

In lovely condition, with a little wear to the outside of one arm, shown in a photo.

The original cushions with their straps to button on to the chair are included. You may like to have these reupholstered. Covers are available to buy on Etsy.

Measures 82cm tall X 69cm wide to the outsides of the arms. The seat is 27cm in height at the front.

***Due to the weight and particularly the size of the chair it will be sent by courier from Cardiff. You may also of course collect it or arrange a courier yourself. Shipping by courier arranged by us is to be paid by the buyer directly to the courier on delivery. A price will be arranged by us in advance with a courier we have used many times and agreed with the buyer before confirmation. This cost will be very reasonable as the regular courier gets a lot of work from us. Buyer’s contact details will be passed to the courier with their permission in order to arrange a suitable delivery day and time.***
