Edwardian smokers bow arm chair with leather seat
An elegant Edwardian antique mahogany and Satinwood hoop smoker’s bow arm chair, with padded leather seat and turned spindles.

The frieze bar is in a flame mahogany with slim, turned spindles beneath and a back panel inlaid with simple geometric contrasting Satinwood.
The comfortable padded seat is covered in a brown leather. This appears to be much newer than the chair, likely a replacement for a worn out and torn original. The leather is held down with the original brass pins.
A special little detail is the subtle scroll carved into the arms at the inside ends, as well as the elegantly formed shape to the base of the front legs.
This chair is fantastic in the lounge or a corner of a bedroom. Also nice to have at the head of a dining table and makes a fine desk chair.
Measures 71.5cm tall X 54cm at widest to the outsides of the arms. The seat is 43cm in height at the front X 44cm wide. The overall depth is approx 54cm at the arms.
