A vintage First Aid Kit tin for your home’s plasters, bandages, ointments or any other little emergency items on hand.

With a hand-painted ‘First Aid Outfit’ and a red cross on the lid, and stuck to the inside of the lid is the original contents label showing what the box was sold as containing, including ‘sterilised finger dressings’ and ‘a bottle solution gentian violet’, and a guide beneath to the treatment of minor injuries including ‘a scratch or slight wound’ and ‘eye (foreign body in)’.

Furthermore, the previous owner kept in there a Reader’s Digest ‘Handbook of First Aid’ dating from 1961.

It would also make a good stationery tin, money tin or to keep any other smaller items you need to keep together. A small padlock could be used on the closing hoops.

Measures 22.5cm X 16cm X 7cm.
