Blue, red and ivory 1970s model 746 original vintage rotary dial telephone
A fantastic dark turquoise blue, red and ivory colour 1970s British rotary dial telephone in great condition.
This is a model 746, right at the end of that run, and one of the last rotary dial phones before push button models over took them. The base of the phone also bears the numbers 21942.
This hasn’t been tested but has a standard modern fitting at the end of the cable, but is sold as a superb piece of vintage homeware.
Its excellent condition means it’s also ideal for the stage and screen for set dressing.
A central dial circle has been added onto which a telephone number or similar personalisation can be added. This can very simply be removed by the buyer if preferred.
Measures 21 deep X 13.5cm wide X 11cm tall.
