Antique wooden wall panel of winged angel

A wonderful piece of wall art made from a panel which came from an antique gramophone likely produced by The Gramophone Company Ltd. (1898-1931) in the UK.

Set in the centre of a mahogany wood panel is an image of an angel, believed to be the ‘recording angel’ used as the logo of the company.

A striking but quite calming image, this overseeing angel is around a century old. It has had a black frame painted to the front where there was no varnish where structural pieces were once nailed.

With a brass hook to the rear, this very special little picture comes ready to hang, or can be leant against a wall from any surface.

Measures 41cm X 34cm X 1cm.
