Antique oak velvet seated adjustable stool
An attractive early 1900s adjustable oak stool with dark green velvet seat.
With stylish rounded bentwood legs and a threaded iron central support, which when the seat is rotated clockwise will take the seat as far as it can go, with an approximate 42cm in height, and rotated fully the other way out will go as high as approximately 62cm, though with some slant and wobble. It is fully stable raised at least to 52cm in height. There is a tightening key to secure the seat in place.
This works well as a piano stool where your sitting height needs to be just so, or for any other kind of height-specific activity.
It also felt rotates as an office swivel chair does, should you need to switch regularly between two positions.
The seat has been recovered recently with new dark green velvet and is in great condition.
The seat measures 38cm in diameter.
